Tóm tắt The 1992 Constitution Draft suggests “Vietnamese should be the National language”. This article has causing many arguments among the professional, academic and/or interested persons. In that sense, the author shows his opinion supporting the necessity of an official definition of the status of Vietnamese as the National Language in the constitution. So it will be a constitutional for of the making Viet Nam’s Language Law in the near future.
