Tóm tắt The use of newspaper language is more or less affects the readers vocabulary and their use of words. This also influences the correspondent ability to express his thinking and to preserve the clarity of the Vietnamese language, dominating hisstyle. The creation of language “standard deviation” is one of the typical methods of creativity manifestation in the use of words, in the correspondent’s style and is an important factor that decides the “existence” of an article in the newspaper. Based on the basic theories for the application of Vietnamese studies and the practical issues in the language of newspapers: (1) phonetic deviation; (2) morphological and semantic deviation; and (3) grammatical deviation.
