Tóm tắt Characteristic expressions of number may have found in Chinese Buddhist scriptures, which are evident in three ways: (a) expressing uncertain numbers using numbers and other words rather than numbers alone; (b) representing plural numbers by “deng/cao”; (c) using conjunctions to connect numbers. By comparing Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures with their Chinese translations, we found that these peculiar ways of expression have a lot to do with the translation of Buddhist scriptures from Sanskrit.
Tóm tắt 本文讨论汉译佛经中数的特别表达方式。其主要表现在：用数词和非数词十、表虚数；用“等／曹”表复数；用连接词“若／乃至”连接数词。梵汉对勘发现，数的这种表达方式多与梵文翻译有关。
