Tóm tắt As a key participant and a crucial decision-maker throughout the process of translation,the translator necessarily assumes a cultural attitude instrumental in the projection of her cultural identity,the shaping of her motives for undertaking the translation,and the determination of her interpretive and translational strategies for dealing with the task.The attitude,however,is itself a complex,dynamic and multi-dimensional construct.An awareness of its many-faceted character renders available a critical perspective from which to understand and analyze the complexity of the translation process.
