Tóm tắt Yu Hua’s novels have played an important role in Outgoing Strategies for contemporary Chinese literature, of which 4 novels and nearly 20 short stories have been translated by different translators and published in English-speaking world. Brothers is one of influential novels at home and abroad, and its English version represents a significant progress in Chinese-English translation with "faithful" requirement.
