Tóm tắt This paper first provides a brief survey of the expressions of"existence"in various languages(on the assumption that existence is the main object of ontology)in connection with the serious challenges to this notion in modern philosophy,and then discusses the understanding and translations of the subject"ontology"in China.Finally the author proposes a new translation of"ontology"on the basis of a group of Chinese cognates shì/shǐ/shíthat can flexibly correspond to the inflections of on,etc.in Greek and other European languages.
Tóm tắt 本文暂以"ontology主要研究存在"的普通理解为出发点,结合ontology在现代哲学里所受到的严重挑战,考察各语言对"存在"的表达以及中国学人对这门学问称名的理解和翻译探索;作者尝试提议一个含义丰富而合用的汉语新译名"諟论",其所依托的一组同源词‘是、諟、寔’可灵活地与希腊语on及其他西方语言的屈折形式相对应。
