Tóm tắt Classifier is popular in Sino-Tibetan. Chinese people were rarely aware of Classifier in ancient time.They used the term "Classifier" and thought it as a separate category until the middle of 20 th century. But the western missionaries in early years found Classifier and found the relation between number and Classifier, Noun and Classifier. Those achievements are very important in the history of study on Chinese grammar.
Tóm tắt 量词是汉藏语普遍存在的一种语法现象。中国古人对量词有零星的认识,但真正使用"量词"之术语同时将其独立成一类进行研究则迟至20世纪中期。早期西方来华传教士就敏锐地发现了汉语的这一特殊现象,并对数词和量词、量词和名词的关系及量词的分类和特性进行了探讨,诸多发现早于国内语法学界多年。西方传教士的量词观是汉语语法学史上不可或缺的一环。
