Tóm tắt Beibao (背包) is a commonly used phrase in spoken Chinese and in current Chinese textbooks.Bei (背) in the phrase Beibao (背 包) is a polyphone.Linguistic research in this paper shows that Bei (背) in the phrase Beibao (背包) should be pronounced as "bēi".The study on the pronunciation of Beibao (背包) aims to explain that the basic linguistic research is the prerequisite to make common language strategies effective,such as compiling and consulting dictionary,formulating and implementing the norm of language,compiling and teaching Chinese textbooks.
