Tóm tắt The paper presents generally the nature of Systemic Functional Grammar (SFG) and its evaluation on the non-standard Vietnamese used by the youth nowadays. SFG argues that texteal meaning. SFG consider non-standard language used by teenagers as part of system of choices, which will be productive and will spread in many contexts of communication. Therefore, non-standard language will gradually degenerate and change Vietnamese badly. Accrding to SFG, the situation of non-standard Vietnamese nowadays gives the alarm so that we need appropriate solutions to prevent bad languages and to encourage teenagers to ues pure standard language acceoted by community.
