Tóm tắt This article introduces several studies and surveys about the relationship between a country’s English proficiency and some components of its economy. It proves that English proficiency has an important impact on economic development. This article then looks at Vietnam Goverment’s staegy for improving the country’s English proficiency and offers some recommendations with the aim of effectively boosting the positive impacts of English on the economy. This paper is only a part of series about the role of English and its important impacts on the economy development of the country in the inregration age.
