Tóm tắt The article focused on the role of the use of authentic materias in the process of teaching and learnong foreign languages in order to anhance foregn language communicative competence. During the study process ,an authentic corpus is a resouurce commonly used in the foreign language curriculum becase of two basis characteristics. The first characteristics is its genuineness of language use and the second is that it contains language features that put learners into real situations of everyday life. During the language learning process , authentic materials are used as a source of language input and linguistic signals. Based on the features listed above, authentic material can be implemented by teachers in the teaching process to improve three specific competence, and strategic competence.
