Tóm tắt The Eastern Yugur of Altai Mongolian language is one of the endangered languages in China used by small population. This paper,based on the field research in the county seat of Su Nan Yugur autonomous county of Zhangye city in Gansu province, provides an observation and analysis on the status quo of the use of Eastern Yugur.
