Tóm tắt Mastering the motivation of word formation is of great benefit to improving the learning efficiency of learners who study Chinese as a second language. Taking the Disyllabic Food Words in the HSK outline, the article focuses on extracting four methods of analyzing compound words motivation: clarifying morpheme meaning, probing rhetoric, restoring characters, connecting literature and history, the article will provide corresponding teaching suggestions according to different type as well.
