Tóm tắt	Based on the theory of cognitive scene, this paper reveals the grammatical features of modern chinese monosyllabic saying verb, describes various sentential construction of high-frequency prototypical saying verb "shuo", and finally discusses the differences and connections between "shuo" and other saying verbs, and explains the relevant phenomena as well.
