Tóm tắt It is not uncommon for English as foreign language (EFL) learners to fae many speaking difficulties. Studies have indicated that most of the time, oral language in the classroom is used more by teachers than by students. However, oral language, evev as used by the teacher, hardly ever functions as a means for students to gain knowledge and explore ideas. To develop the knowledge to deal with oral communication problems in an EFL context, this paper aim at reviewing a number of teaching strategies for speaking sikll as well as suggesting a range of avaiable speaking aids that could help generate more students' oral production in the class.
