Tóm tắt Chinese metalinguistic negation can be divided into two types:the domain of knowing and the domain of uttering."Bie(别)+quotation"is a kind of quoted negation to correct some inappropriate discourse and induce the listener(s)to take proper actions.Meanwhile,it can also be regarded as the negation of uttering for the purpose of performing actions."Bie+quotation"can be used to negate irrealis expressions,irresponsible expressions,negative attitudes,interpersonal or interactive words,and words of a different community.There exists a complementary tendency for the choice of negation objects among the different variant forms of metalinguistic negation which can be attributed to the deeper cognitive and pragmatic resources.To discuss the ambiguity of metalinguistic negation,we should clarify the basic concepts.Whether a negation is ambiguous or not can be judged from the echoic elements.Ambiguous metalinguistic negation within the limitation of syntax can be seen as homograph with ambiguity.
Tóm tắt 汉语元语否定可作知域、言域区分。"别+引语"元语否定句对不适宜话语提出修正,进而劝导听话人采取适宜行动,是以言行事的言域否定。据其具体功能可以分为否定非现实情态表达、否定低传信度表达、否定消极性表态、否定关系词语或互动性词语、否定社群外或语域外异质词语等情况。元语否定不同变体形式在否定对象选择上存在互补倾向,有深层认知和语用根源。讨论相关歧义问题需澄清基本概念,是否存在歧义可根据回声性成分的形类观察,未超出句法限制的元语否定句存在歧义,是跨对象语言、元语言的同形歧域。
