Tóm tắt "Rewriting"is one of the most frequently-used strategies of translation variation by Yan Fu in translating Evolution and Ethics. The units of"Rewriting"include word, phrase, sentence, sentence group and paragraph, with a high frequency of "Rewriting"occurrence in sentence and sentence group, and the methods of"Rewriting"cover concept rewriting, example rewriting, style rewriting, and approximate substitution."Rewriting"can enable translators to be convenient in the reason explaining, in the text layout conceiving, in the equal effect seeking, in the adaptation technique realizing, and in the original work surpassing.
Tóm tắt "改"是严译《天演论》最常用的变译策略之一。改的单位有词、短语、句子、句群、段等,以句和句群为多;改的方式有改概念、换例、改风格、近似替代等;改的功用有便于说理、便于谋篇、追求同等效果、便于达旨、超胜原作等。
