Tóm tắt The May-Fourth Period in modern Chinese history saw the mushrooming up of literary societies and publications devoted primarily to the translation of western poetry.To give such an era of creative outbursts the attention it deserves,this paper surveys the general characteristics of its poetry translating activities and looks closely in particular into the contributions made by the most active,influential or unique literary publications,societies and poet-translators.In so doing,we mean to provide some needed historical references for future explorations of poetry translation in China.
Tóm tắt 五四时期,各种文学社团和期刊杂志相继创立并纷纷投入到诗歌翻译活动中,表现出鲜明的时代特色,构成西诗汉译的第一个高潮。本文以追踪开展西诗汉译活动最活跃、影响最大或最具特色的刊物、社团及主要译者为主线,试图勾勒五四时期西诗汉译的大体轮廓及其活动特点,为透视中国诗歌翻译规范的形成及其对中国新诗的建构性影响提供史料借鉴。
