Tóm tắt . It is widely admitted that the verb is the most important part of speech in linguistics in general and in Vietnamese linguistics in particular.It is considered the central part of a sentence, surrounded by the elements like subject, object and adverb in traditional grammar. There have existed a big number of studies onthe Vietnamese verb in Vietnamese linguistics. However, few researches on the experiential verb have been conducted as independent ones. This article would be considered an initial study on this type of verb and a preparatory phase for the research titled a constrastive study on the experiential verb in English and Vietnamese.
