Tóm tắt This article discusses the division of the history of Putonghua Proficiency Test(Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi,PSC).After summarizing the existing divisions as well as their foundations,the article puts forward a dividing method—‘two stages and four periods’.Furthermore the paper illustrates the boundary marks,the historical and academic backgrounds,the principal characteristics and representative achievements at each stage and period.
