Tóm tắt Learning English for specific purposes (ESP) is challenging to a lot of learners even though they have a great demand for using it in their future career. When attending an ESP training course, one of their aims is to comprehend and build up their own source of ESP vocabulary. According to Belcher , ESP helps learners meet their both academic and professional demand and requirements of a particular subject.Gairns and Redman (p.76) also note that it is necessary ESP learners to do their individual activities to enhance their own source of ESP vocabulary because it is they who know their current demand. This article presents some of individual activities that they can participate in to enrich their ESP vocabulary needed for their exchanging information and translating documents in future jobs.
