Tóm tắt The colored book is a new kind of publication with comparable size. Its distinctive language style has formed a new genre. This paper compares government white paper with non-government colored books in terms of the general situation,discourse function,textual features,and the usage of words and expressions. It tentatively concludes laws of language use in the colored book and the book’s value as a corpus.
