Tóm tắt 中国的西方哲学研究是在对中国社会发展作出积极回应,并提供对于特殊时代中国社会现实问题的思想启发中开始的,更是在中国的马克思主义哲学语境中实现了对自身的认识与反思后而融入中国社会的。当前,中国的西方哲学研究从"适应中国社会"走向了"表达中国文化"的新阶段。在这一阶段,西方哲学主动融入中国哲学新形态的建构中,成为中国哲学新形态的重要研究对象之一;主动融入中国传统文化之中,在实现传统文化现代化过程中发挥积极作用;开始以融入的方式开显自身的理论发展方向;产生了西方哲学中国化的诸多理论成果。"积极应变、自觉反思、主动融入"是西方哲学中国化的整体发展机制,由此也形成了西方哲学中国化研究的理论自觉.
