Tóm tắt Structure showing is commonly used in modern Cantonses. However, whether has function of showing degree or not, and if yes, how shows degree, what grammatical role of in the structure, what is its meaning in the structure and so on. Academics have told different opinions so far. Studying the function and meaning of and in the structure showing degree does not merely help determining its semantics, but also contributing to teaching modern Cantonese.
