Tóm tắt 许国璋先生是我国著名的语言学家、英语教育家,也是对语言哲学有深邃思考的学者。本文在收集整理许先生全部文稿以及他人的评述文献基础上指出,许国璋的语言哲学思想蕴含在他的语言研究和外语教育中。他的所有著述都体现出,哲理思辨是其根本;无论是他关于语言、文字的理论和关系的论述,还是他关于外语教育和翻译的认知,以及他对国外语言理论和中国传统语言论述的反思,都闪耀着语言哲学的光芒,是我们深刻理解其学术思想内涵的关键。
