Tóm tắt Jackendoff treats the relationship between language and other cognitive faculties as well as those among phonology,syntax and semantics in language with his parallel architecture theory based on conceptual structure,and develops conceptual semantics and simpler syntax. Conceptual semantics forms a nice integration between language and cognition,while simpler syntax,by discarding movement and increasing the syntax-semantics interface rules,makes syntax "slimmer" and enables syntax to account for more linguistic data. However,simpler syntax does not show any trace of being simpler than the Minimalist Program as it creates lots of complexities in building the correspondences between syntax and semantics. Recently,Jackendoff’s study of conceptual structure and parallel architecture is extended to new fields like NN compounding and language processing,showing more persuading advantages of his theory in dealing with peripheral linguistic phenomena and the integration with neuro-cognitive linguistics.
Tóm tắt Jackendoff用基于概念结构的平行构建理论去处理语言同其他认知官能及语言内的音形义关系,提出了概念语义学和更简句法理论。概念语义学较好地实现了语言与认知的融合,更简句法则通过取消移位和增加句义界面规则实现了句法的瘦身,同时还可以面对更多的经验事实。但是,更简句法在精简句法的同时却增加了句义对应,总体上并未做到比"最简方案"(minimalist program,MP)"更简"。概念结构和更简句法理论还需要更多跨语言研究的丰富和支持,概念结构的系统性还需要加强,更简句法中句义接口的可操作性还应该更明晰。近年来,Jackendoff的研究又拓展到了NN复合以及语言加工等新的领域,在边缘语言现象处理、面向实证研究以及同认知神经语言学的融合等方面显示出了较为明显的理论优势。
