Tóm tắt This paper first identifies some problems that analysts may encounter in working with information structure. It then tries to clarify some confusion that often arises with regard to the similarities and differences between information, topic, focus and other related notions. It finally demonstrates how the selection of topic form, topic chain organization and focus marking may interact to produce the final grammatical/rhetorical form of a discourse segment.
Tóm tắt 本文首先指出信息结构分析可能遭遇的一些问题,然后在澄清几个与信息、话题、焦点等有关的概念之后,举例说明话题形式、话题链组合、焦点标记三者如何互相作用而决定语篇片段的最终语法及修辞形式。
