Tóm tắt The adjectives developed from nouns and verbs have the semantic tendency of "showing more" and "showing good". The pragmatic motivation behind is the theory of markedness and the principle of optimism. To understand the semantic development of the adjectives will help us to analyze their meaning more deeply. In addtion, it will be helpful to interpret the meanings of the dictionaries.
