Tóm tắt Nhiều giáo viên có thể gặp khó khăn trong việc lựa chọn một trang web hay nền tảng phù hợp để giúp học sinh ôn tập từ vựng. Mô hình mang tên TPACK phát triển bởi Mishara & Koehler (2006) có thể giúp các giáo viên vượt qua được khó khăn kể trên bằng việc giúp giáo viên nhìn nhận được Kiến thức Công nghệ; Kiến thức Giảng dạy và Kiến thức Nội dung của mỗi tài liệu giảng dạy. Vì vậy, tôi sẽ sửu dụng mô hình TPACK trong bài viết này để phân tích các lợi ích của việc sử dụng trang web Kahoot để giúp học sinh củng cố và ôn tập từ vựng.
Tóm tắt Nowadays, technology has played a pivotal role in vocabulary teaching. Specifically, technology can boots students' understanding of vocabulary and provides numerous opportunities for them to use the vocabulary in contexts. After having memorized the meanings of vocabulary items, there are plenty of technology to help students consolidate their lexical knowledge. However, many teachers might face difficuties in selecting a platform or a website suitable to revise vocabulary for their group of students. Fortunately, there is framework called TPACK by Mishra & Koehler (2006) which helps teachers address this problem. By differentiating among the three types of knowledge, namely technological knowledge (TK), pedagogical knowledge (PK), and content knowledge (CK), the TPACK framework focuses how content (what is being taught) and pedagogy (how the teacher should teach that content) must form the foundation for the selection of any technology integration. Realizing this advantage that the TPACK framework offers, I will elaborate on the Content Knowledge and Pedagogical Knowledge of the Teaching of Reading, so as to build a firm foundation for the introduction of a platform called Kahoot! which helps students recycle their vocabulary.
